Welcome to Boki Local Government
Boki Local Government Area is located in the lush rainforest belt of Cross River State, Nigeria. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, fertile agricultural landscape, and resilient people, Boki stands as a vibrant hub of culture, nature, and potential. Our communities are deeply rooted in tradition while embracing sustainable development and progressive growth.
Officially created on August 28, 1991, its administrative headquarters is situated in Boje. Geographically, Boki is bordered by Obudu and Obanliku LGAs to the north, Ikom and Ogoja LGAs to the west, Etung LGA to the south, and the Republic of Cameroon to the east.
Our Mission
To promote inclusive development, expand economic opportunities, and actively engage citizens—both at home and in the diaspora—in the ongoing transformation of Boki.
